About The Regent
Built in 1914, The Regent is DTLA’s last standing historic movie theater on Main Street. After decades spent as a grindhouse and adult cinema, the venue fell silent in 2000. Reclaimed and restored to its original glory in 2012 the theater was transformed into a premier live music hub. Complete with its iconic gothic ceiling, grand proscenium arch, sloped floor, a wrap-around mezzanine, plus Prufrock Pizzeria and The Love Song Bar, The Regent hosts everything from high-energy concerts and dance nights to film screenings and festivals.
PARKING
There are three paid surface lots conveniently located across the street from the venue between 4th and 5th Street. If you happen to get Doris Day parking please make sure to read the street signs carefully.
